This standard was developed in accordance with TIA procedural guidelines, and represents the consensus position of the Working Group and its parent Subcommittee TR-41.3, which served as the formulating group. There are eleven annexe

The leadership of the TR-41.3.3 Digital Interface Communications Device Working Group (Chair: Allen Woo, Plantronics) acknowledges the wri

44、Labs, Inc. James Bress Bob Young however, if the headset is designed to operate with a specific digital interface communication device, it shall be tested with that device and reported as such. Many products tested for compliance with this standard are expected to support both wideband and narrowban

45、d modes of transmission performance. To be considered compliant with this standard, such products must be tested in each transmission mode and comply with the performance requirements contained herein relevant to that transmission mode. Products that only support one transmission mode are considered

46、 compliant with this standard if they comply with the requirements herein for that mode. However, the test report for such products shall clearly state with which mode they comply by use of wording similar to the following: This product complies with the requirements of ANSI/TIA-920.130-B for the tr

47、ansmission mode only. ANSI/TIA-920.130-B 14 5.3 RECEIVE PERFORMANCE The receive performance of a communications device is determined by its electrical-to-acoustical transfer characteristics. To determine the receive performance, requirements for acoustic output level, frequency response, distortion,

48、 noise, volume control and delay are specified. The test setup arrangements shown in 4.4.3 are used for all receive measurements. Some tests do not require the application of an input test signal to the reference codec. As discussed in 4.4.2, direct digital processing may be used for generating the

49、receive bit stream signal in place of the reference codec. If the DUT has an adjustable receive tone control, the tone setting that provides the best tolerance margin to the upper and lower frequency response limits per the measurement method in clause 5.3.5 shall be used with all other requirements in this Standard. The Nominal Volume Control Setting is to be used when testing for compliance with all other requirements in this Standard unless specified otherwise.
