5、tructions ofhow to obtain a printed copy of the material contained in electronic format.RATIONALE FOR DECISION:UL 250 specifies that installation and operating instructions shall be provided with the appliance. In thepast, these instructions have typically been provided in hard copy printed format.
6、However, for a varietyof reasons, manufacturers are looking at other means to provide this important information. Instructionsrequired by UL 250 must be readily available to the user. The addition of paragraphs 11.2.7.1 and 11.2.7.2outlines the requirements regarding the use of electronic media and
