3、native capacitor requirements in the Standard for Fixed Capacitors for Use in Electronic Equipment, UL 60384-14 Addition of start-to-discharge test to allow pressure relief valves, other than ASME stamped valves, on pressurized product systems Clarication of requirements involving ultraviolet radiat

4、ion lamps Align controls requirements with water heater controls requirements and add alternate protective electronic controls requirements Revisions to Supplement SB for drinking water coolers employing a ammable refrigerant Addition of requirements for remotely operated drinking water coolers Clar

5、ication of test enclosure requirements Addition of requirements for household drinking-water coolers incorporating button or coin cell batteries Addition of grounding symbol Editorial corrections The new and revised requirements are substantially in accordance with Proposal(s) on this subject dated

40、ntained drinking-water coolers employing hermetic refrigerant motor-compressors or thermoelectric water chilling systems and designed for connection to alternating-current circuits rated not greater than 600 volts in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. The following types of water

41、 coolers are included within the scope of this Standard: a) Those supplying cold water or both cold and hot water; b) Battery operated; c) Those employing ammable refrigerant as dened in Supplement SB; and d) Those provided with ultraviolet (UV) radiation lamp systems in which the UV wavelengths are

42、 200 nm or greater; however, the effectiveness of the water treatment by the UV radiation is not covered by these requirements. 1.2 These requirements do not include additional requirements applicable to equipment designed for use in hazardous locations as dened in the National Electrical Code, NFPA

43、 70. 1.3 A product that contains features, characteristics, components, materials, or systems new or different from those covered by the requirements in this standard, and that involves a risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons shall be evaluated using the appropriate additional component a

44、nd end-product requirements as determined necessary to maintain the acceptable level of safety as originally anticipated by the intent of this standard. A product whose features, characteristics, components, materials, or systems conict with specic requirements or provisions of this standard cannot

45、be judged to comply with this standard. Where considered appropriate, revision of requirements shall be proposed and adopted in conformance with the methods employed for development, revision, and implementation of this standard. 2 Units of measurement 2.1 If a value for measurement is followed by v
