This document provides a single listing of the National Differences included in the UL adoption of

3、 the corresponding IEC standard. Editorial differences appearing in the UL standard are not included in this technical compilation. Purchasers of the electronic ver

10、sions of ULs standards documents agree to defend, indemnify, and hold UL harmless from and against any loss, expense, liability, damage, claim, or judgement (including reasonable attorneys fees) resulting from any error or deviation introduced while purchaser is storing an electronic standards docum

11、ent on the purchasers computer system. If a single-user version electronic standards document was purchased, one copy of this standards document may be stored on the hard disk of a single personal computer, or on a single LAN file-server or the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer, o

12、r made available through the purchasers Intranet in such a manner that this standards document may only be accessed by one user at a time and for which there is no possibility of multiple simultaneous, concurrent access. If a multiple-user version electronic standards document was purchased, one cop

13、y of the standards document may be stored on a single LAN file-server, or on the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer, or made available through the purchasers Intranet. The number of simultaneous, concurrent users shall not exceed the number of users authorized. Electronic standards

14、 documents are intended for on-line use, such as for viewing the requirements of a standards document, conducting a word search, and the like. Only one copy of the standards document may be printed from each single-user version of an electronic standards document. Only one copy of the standards docu

15、ment may be printed for each authorized user of a multiple-user version of an electronic standards document. Because of differences in the computer/software/printer setup used by UL and those of electronic standards document purchasers, the printed copy obtained by a purchaser may not look exactly l

Preface This document provides a single listing of the technical National Differences included in the UL adoption of the corresponding IEC standard. Editorial National Differences (those marked DE) are not included in this technical compi

18、lation. In its IEC-based standards, UL uses the notations indicated below to identify national difference type, and these types are additionally noted in this document. The standard may not use all types of these deviations. DR - These are differences based on the National Electrical Code (NEC) and

19、other U.S. Regulatory Requirements. D1 - These are differences which are based on basic safety principles and requirements, elimination of which would compromise safety for U.S. consumers and users of products. Requirements related to these National Differences are based on North American regulatory

20、 requirements and are specified in Annex NAE. D2 - These are differences based on safety practices. These are differences for IEC requirements that may be acceptable, but adopting the IEC requirements would require considerable retesting or redesign on the manufacturers part. Some of these National

21、Differences are Markings and Instructions Requirements and are specified in Annex NAA. D3 These are national differences based on bi-national requirements which result in less stringent requirements than in IEC 60950-1. DC - These are differences based on the component standards and will not be dele

22、ted until a particular component standard is harmonized with the IEC component standard. Component requirements for these deviations are specified in Annexes P.1 and P.2. 28、es for regulatory requirements that might apply to some equipment. Applicability of these requirements is dependent on the construction of the equipment and its intended installation and use. This annex is not intended to provide a complete list of all of the applicable requirements, only to serve a

29、s a reference for requirements that most commonly apply to this type of equipment. For complete requirements, the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, or other referenced document must be consulted. Any undated reference to a code or standard appearing in the

30、 requirements of this standard shall be interpreted as referring to the latest edition of that code or standard.
