4、to gripping the product, shall be required toenergize the unit;b) The motion shall not be easily defeatible defeatable;c) A single motion shall be required to de-energize the unit; andd) The switch shall not be capable of locking in the ON position.28.1A A non-hand-held wand-type mixer that is:a) in
5、tended to be mechanically attached to a mixing container, andb) provided with an interlock switch that must be actuated only by this mechanical attachmentto the container before ON operation of the appliance can occur,is not required to be provided with the momentary contact ON/OFF switch specified
6、in 28.1. The interlocksystem shall comply with the interlock system requirements of 6.19.3. The mixing container may beprovided with the appliance, or recommended by the manufacturer in the instructions.28.2 A wand-type mixer is considered to comply with 21.1 if it is provided with top and side blad
7、e guardingthat affords the necessary protection for the blade against contact with sides/bottom of bowl surfaces, andthe user against inadvertent blade contact. Any openings in the top and side blade guarding shall notpermit the entrance of the flat end of a 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) diameter rod, when plac
8、ed perpendicular to theguard. As an alternate means of evaluation, any openings in the guarding shall not permit contact of theflat end of a 5/16 inch (8 mm) diameter rod of unlimited length with the blades, when placed at an angleof 45 degrees to the drive shaft. 10、rlock system thatcan only be actuated when the appliance is physically and mechanically attached to a mixing container.This type of construction only allows the interlock to be activated when the appliance is mounted to thecontainer, which results in the appliance only being capable of being operate

Since this reduces the risk of physical injury to the user, this type of appliancedoes not need to be provided with a momentary on/off switch, but rather, the appliance interlock is tocomply with the interlock system requirements.This Certificati
