、 2.2. Revised 4.1.5.1 to clarify the information found in Table 1. Addition of a new subheading 4.1.5.2.2, Concentric, to dene a conventional concentric conductor. Revised 4.1.5.2.6 to permit compressed unilay single input to have other than reversed direction of strand layers. As a result, the titl

、e of Table 7 revised. Addition of a reference to the Length of Lay test in UL 2556, CSA C22.2 No. 2556, or NMX-556-ANCE at 4.1.5.2.6 to specify how to determine the length of lay. Revised 4.1.6.1 to clarify that diameter requirements for conductor classes not referenced in Tables49donotneed to be de

、ned. Added 4.1.7.1 to allow butt splices in sizes smaller than an 8 AWG conductor. Added a country deviation to 4.2.2, to clarify in Mexico, repairs on nished conductors are not permitted. Revised 4.2.4 to align with the description of the requirements in Table 10. Revised 5.2.1, 5.2.2, 5.3.1.2, 5.3

、.2, and 5.13 to align with the Standard for Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44/CSA C22.2 No. 38/NMX-J-451 Revised 5.3.1.2 to cover cases where the center strand consists of more than one wire and situations for non-compliance. Revised 5.5 and 5.6 for clearer interpretation of the LTIR test

、procedure and stability requirements in Long Term Insulation Resistance and stability acceptance criteria. Tolerances are being added to immersion temperatures specied in 5.5.2 and 5.7 and to remove temperatures expressed in Fahrenheit. Revised Heat Shock, Cold Bend, FT1, Vertical Tray, and Oil Resi

、stance tests and addition of new tables 27 and 28 (and subsequent tables renumbered) for deep-well submersible pump cable requirements. Revised Vertical specimen test in 5.12.3.1.1 to clarify the requirements apply only to the vertical ame aspect of the test, not the horizontal ame portion. Revised

、5.12.7.2 to remove specications to the preparation of specimens since it is addressed in the referenced Standard for Wire and Cable Test Methods, UL 2556, CSA C22.2 No. 2556, or NMX-J-474-ANCE. 10、HOUT PERMISSION FROM UL Revised optional weather resistance test in 5.13 based on World Resources Institute data on typical daily sunlight exposure in Canada can be reduced to 720 hours. Revised oil resistance at 60C and 75C tests in 5.14.1 and 5.14.2 to indicate that a wire that complies with the r

、equirements for PR II must also comply with those for PR I. Revised optional marking requirement for Gasoline and Oil Resistance in 5.15.1 to specify the marking is only for wet rated conductors. Revised 5.18 to state the maximum number of specimens that are permitted to fail. Addition of a referenc

、e to Table 4, Diameters over solid conductors and cross-sectional area for all solid and stranded conductors, to 6.1.4 to ensure the correct mm 2 value is marked. Addition of 6.1.5 to specify that wire is required to be marked when other than those with ASTM Class B, C or SIW stranding. Revised 6.1.

、10.1(d) to add FT4IEEE 1202 marking as an option. Addition of Note to 6.1.10 to show it is a requirement in Canada that wires must be marked FT1 or FT4. Table C1 in Annex C is also revised. Addition of a note to indicate in Canada, the -40C rating is required as specied in the Canadian Electrical Co

、de, Part I. As a result, 7.3.1, 7.3.2, and 7.4.4 have also been revised. Revised footnotes to Table 2 for clarity. Revised Table 7 title as a result of revision to 4.1.5.2.6. Additionally, the diameters for sizes 12-2 AWG from ASTM B 901 are being added, with a note that these apply to SIW only. Rev

、ised Table 30 to correct the value for 3.31 mm 2 (12 AWG) for Types THWN-2, THWN. THHN and T90 Nylon in M1000 ft. Additionally, the footnotes have been revised so that K values are expressed in both M1000 ft and Gm. Revised Table 34 to clarify that any jacket thickness is acceptable. Globally revise
