6、HOUT PERMISSION FROM ULINTRODUCTION1 Scope1.1 This outline covers the requirements for Wind Turbine Tray Cable (WTTC) rated 1000 volts, 90 200C dry and optionally rated 90C wet. It also covers the requirements for Flexible Motor Supply Cablerated 1000 or 2000 volts and 90C dry. The cables are for us
7、e as noted in 1.2 1.4.1.2 Wind turbine power and control cable is intended to be installed in cable trays or raceways within awind turbine generator.1.3 Flexible motor supply cable (Flexible VFD Servo Cable) is intended for use with variable frequencydrives subjected to non-linear power distortions.
8、1.4 These cables are intended for use in accordance with the applicable parts of the National ElectricalCode (NEC), NFPA 70.2 Units of Measurement2.1 In addition to being stated in the inch/pound units that are customary in the USA, each of therequirements in this outline is also stated in units tha

Cables shallbe made and finished with the degree of uniformity and grade of workmanship that are practicable in awel
15、l-equipped factory.5.2 Each material used in a cable shall be compatible with all of the other materials used in the cable.5.3 These cables shall comply with the construction requirements for cables rated 600 or 2000 volts, asapplicable, in the Standard for Electrical Power and Control Tray Cables w
16、ith Optional Optical-FiberMembers, UL 1277, except as noted in 5.4 and 5.5.5.4 For Flexible Motor Supply Cable, the conductors shall be copper and in accordance with the Standardfor Flexible Cords and Cables, UL 62, or conductors for flexing service in the Standard for Machine-ToolWires and Cables,
17、UL 1063. The thickness of insulation of Flexible Motor Supply Cable rated 2000 voltsshall be the same as 2000 volt-rated Type RHW in accordance with the Standard for Thermoset-InsulatedWires and Cables, UL 44.5.5 For Wind Turbine Tray Cable, the conductors shall be only copper, copper-clad aluminum,
18、 or anacceptable aluminum alloy in accordance with the Standard for Electrical Power and Control Tray Cableswith Optional Optical-Fiber Members, UL 12776 Assembly6.1 Wind Turbine Tray cable is a jacketed assembly of two or more 18 AWG to 2000 kcmil conductors.6.2 Flexible Motor Supply Cable may be a
19、 single 22 AWG to 500 kcmil conductor or a jacketed assemblyof two or more 22 AWG to 4/0 AWG conductors. Cables rated 2000 volts shall not have conductorssmaller than 14 AWG. 21、ic withstand and spark tests voltages shall be in accordance with the requirements forwires rated 1000 or 2000 volts in the Standard for Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44.Conductors rated 600 volts shall be tested as if the rating is 1000 volts.7.3 For 1000 volt-rated cables that are not m
22、arked with a type designation, the insulated conductors shallmeet all performance requirements for conductors rated 90 200C, as applicable, and 600 volts. Theconductors shall not be surface printed with any type letter designation.For 1000 volt-rated cables, the insulated conductors shall meet all p
