2、 HDBaseT(PoH) Cables, UL 4299 covers the evaluation of 4-pair LAN cable to carry100 watts of power (0.5 amperes at a nominal 50 volts) in a Power overHDBaseT (PoH) configuration without exceeding the temperature rating ofthe cable. It also ensures that the cable will meet the performancerequirements

12、g Test4.1 General4.1.1 When tested as described in this section, the temperatures measured on the insulation and jacketof the cables, after being corrected to an ambient of 25C, shall not exceed the temperature rating of thecable.4.1.2 The temperature rise over ambient shall be determined in accorda

13、nce with the test proceduredescribed in 4.2. The temperatures measured are used as the basis for the Cable Elevated TemperaturePerformance Test, Section 5.4.1.3 A cable that complies with the Cable Heating Test at 0.5 amperes as described in UL 444 or UL 13need not be subjected to this cable heating

14、 test provided that the temperature rise data at 0.5 amperesper conductor is available for the Cable Elevated Temperature Performance Test, Section 5.4.2 Test procedure4.2.1 The cables shall be arranged in a tightly packed bundle consisting of 7, 61, or 192 cables. The bundleshall be placed in a 1.83 m 5 cm (6 foot 2 inches) long commercially available non-metallic conduit(Schedule 40) with the minimum diameter needed to install the bundle without putting pressure on thecables. Each end of t

It is permitted to electrically divide the conductors into two or morecircuits, each with its own power supply, to obtain

Thermal stabilization is considered to exist when three successivereadings, taken at 15 minute intervals, are within 1C of each other and indicate no further rise above thechanges in ambient temperature.4.2.3 The
