(UL) under its Follow-Up Service for this category within the limitations given below and in the Scope section
4、of this Outline of Investigation. They are subject to revision as further experience and investigation may show is necessary or desirable. B. The observance of these requirements by a manufacturer is one of the conditions of the continued coverage of the manufacturers product. C. A product which com

Note: Routers may have one or more handles to help control the tool during use. 5.102 TRIMMER - A tool designed to be fitted with a rotary cutter for trimming the edge of a plastic la
13、minate sheet. wood veneer or similar materials fixed to a substrate. Note: A trimmer is normally gripped around the body of the tool and does not have additional handles or gripping areas. Add paragraph: 15.101 A router having a mass exceeding 2 kg (5.4 lb-mass) shall be provided with two handles. For other routers and for t
17、rimmers, only one handle is required. A handle or handles shall be shaped or located to reduce the risk of unintentional contact of the users hand with rotating parts. When the gripping area of the handle is provided with a shroud or barrier at its end adjacent to the body of the tool, it is conside
18、red to reduce the risk of unintentional contact of the users hand. Adjustment elements capable of being readjusted while the tool is operating, such as a revolving depth gauge, shall be located so that they are unable to be contacted. The base plate of a router shall surround the cutter so as to red
19、uce the risk of unintentional contact with the cutter. Compliance is checked by inspection. Note: The mass of the router is to be measured with attachments, but without accessories. Examples of an accessory are a mandrel, a cutter and an airhose. 16 Noise Emission This Section of Part 1 is applicable.
