12、vice of a multiple-user computer in such a manner that this Standard may only be accessed by one userat a time and for which there is no possibility of multiple concurrent access.If a multiple-user version electronic Standard was purchased, one copy of the Standard may be stored ona single LAN file-

13、server, or on the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer, or on an Intranetserver. The number of concurrent users shall not exceed the number of users authorized.Electronic Standards are intended for on-line use, such as for viewing the requirements of a Standard,conducting a word sear

14、ch, and the like. Only one copy of the Standard may be printed from eachsingle-user version of an electronic Standard. Only one copy of the Standard may be printed for eachauthorized user of a multiple-user version of an electronic Standard. Because of differences in thecomputer/software/printer set

It

30、 is the sixth edition of CSAC22.2 No. 214 and the third edition of UL 444. This edition of CSA C22.2 No. 214 supersedes theprevious editions, published in 1994, 1990, 1988, 1986, and 1984. This UL edition supersedes theprevious editions published in 1994 and 1990.This common standard was prepared by

31、 Canadian Standards Association and Underwriters LaboratoriesInc. The effort of UL 444/CSA 214 Harmonization Committee is greatly appreciated.The previous Tables 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 10 and 11 have been deleted, and Table 10 and a new Table 13have been added. Tables have been renumbered.This standard was

32、 reviewed by the CSA Subcommittee on C22.2 No. 214, under the jurisdiction of theTechnical Committee on Wiring Products and the Strategic Resource Group, and has been formallyapproved by the Technical Committee.This standard will be submitted to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for p

33、ublication as anAmerican National Standard.Note: Although the intended primary application of this standard is stated in its Scope, it is important to note that it remains theresponsibility of the users of the standard to judge its suitability for their particular purpose.Level of harmonizationThis
