Oishi and Ksesbir predicted that a broad, shallow networking strategy would be ideal for people living in a residentially (在居住条件上) mobile, economically favorable context. A narrow, deep n

42、etworking strategy, on the other hand, would be ideal if people tend to stay in one place and economic conditions arent as favorable.In the first study, they created a model that simulated (模拟)the benefits individuals received from their social network under various socioeconomic conditions.
