34、The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2012. It constitu
45、tes a technical revision. The principal changes in this edition as compared with the third edition of IEC 60335-2-79 are as follows (minor changes are not listed): the standard has been revised editorially to avoid misunderstandings; the document has been revised for the consistent use of definition
46、s throughout the text; correct references were added in the foreword; COMMEMORATIVE COPY IEC 60335-2-79:2016 IEC 2016 5 Annex B has been revised and updated; Clause 15 has been revised and updated; clarification of relevant liquid tanks has been added; in Clause 20 the revised temperature has been i
47、nserted; the text in 29.1 was modified in order to remove any misunderstandings and is in line with IEC 60335-2-102.
