23、mmittees having a special interest therein are represented, express, as nearly as possible, an international consensus of opinion on the subjects dealt with. They have the form of recommendations for international use and they are accepted by the National Committees in that sense. In order to promot
24、e international unification, the IEC expresses the wish that all National Committees should adopt the text of the IEC recommendation for their national rules in so far as national conditions will permit. 35、l Standard describes the general requirements for reference tapes applicable to various video tape recorder (VTR) formats. The object of this standard is to enable users of magnetic recording systems to compare technical product data from different manufacturers and to enable compatibility within th
36、e VTR format. Currently available VTRs, adjusted with the IEC reference tape appropriate to the corres- ponding IEC VTR standard, should give satisfactory results with currently available tapes. The information within this standard covers existing IEC formats. For future formats the corresponding in
