27、tandardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of the IEC is to promote international cooperation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end and in addition to other activities, the IEC pu
28、blishes International Standards. Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Committee interested in the subject dealt with may participate in this preparatory work. International. governmental and non-governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in
29、this preparation. The IEC collaborates closely with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in accordance with conditions determined by agreement between the two organizations. The formal decisions or agreements of the IEC on technical matters, prepared by technical committees on wh

41、 the character- istics of the equipment or system for specification purposes. Where possible, the methods of measurement are specified by reference to other IEC standards. 2 Conditions for measurement 2.1 which the method of measurement is described. The electrical conditions for measurement shall b
42、e those specified in the standard in 2.2 The climatic conditions for measurement shall be within the following ranges. It shall contain all the information specified in clause 4 of each relevant part of this standard. Abbreviated specification

The published values of all the characteristics mentioned in the parts of this standard shall be measured by the methods specified in these parts. 4 Modes of operation If a piece of equipment or a system has more than one mode of ope
