31、al Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this e
32、nd and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications, Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC Publication(s)”). Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Com

International, governmental and non- governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in this preparation. IEC collaborates closely with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in

While all reasonable efforts are made to ensure that the technical content of IEC Publications is accurate, IEC cannot be held r

Any diver

Independent certification bodies provide conformity assessment services and, in some areas, access to IEC m

IEC is not responsible for any services carried out by independent certification bodies. 6) All users should ensure that they have the latest edition of this publication. 7) No liability shall attach to IEC or its directors, employees, servants or agents including individual expe

These components have all of the following general features: they are passive for the reason that they contain no optoelectronic or other transducing elements which can process the optical signal launched into the input port; they modify the spectr

They can be divided into the following categories: short-wave pass (only wavelengths lower than or equal to a specified value are passed); long-wave pass (only wavelengths g

It is also possible to have a combination of the above categories. This standard establishes uniform requirements for the following: optical, mechanical and environmental properties. 2 Normative references The following d
