24、ical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this

This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: new 3.2.2 containing general notes on winding wire, formerly a part of the scope; revision to referenc

37、n be found in the report on voting indicated in the above table. This publication has been drafted in accordance with the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2. The numbering of clauses in this standard is not continuous from Clauses 20 and 30 in order to reserve space for possible future wire requirements prior to those for wire packaging. At this date, the publication will be reconfirmed, withdrawn, replaced by a revised edition, or amended. 60317-38 IEC:2013 5 INTRODUCTION This part of IEC 60317 is one of a series wh

40、ich deals with insulated wires used for windings in electrical equipment. The series has three groups describing: 1) Winding wires Test methods (IEC 60851); 2) Specifications for particular types of winding wires (IEC 60317); 3) Packaging of winding wires (IEC 60264). 6 60317-38 IEC:2013 SPECIFICATI

41、ONS FOR PARTICULAR TYPES OF WINDING WIRES Part 38: Polyester or polyesterimide overcoated with polyamide-imide, enamelled round copper wire, class 200, with a bonding layer 1 Scope This part of IEC 60317 specifies the requirements of enamelled round copper winding wire of class 200 with a triple coa

42、ting. The underlying coating is based on polyester or polyesterimide resin, which may be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets all specified wire requirements. The secondary coating is based on polyamide-imide resin. The third coating is a bonding layer

43、based on a thermoplastic or thermosetting resin. NOTE A modified resin is a resin that has undergone a chemical change, or contains one or more additives to enhance certain performance or application characteristics. The range of nominal conductor diameters covered by this part is: Grade 1B: 0,050 m

44、m up to and including 1,600 mm; Grade 2B: 0,050 mm up to and including 1,600 mm. The nominal conductor diameters are specified in Clause 4 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013. 2 Normative references The following documents, in whole or in part, are normatively referenced in this document and are indispensable for

46、pper wire 3 Terms, definitions, general notes and appearance 3.1 Terms and definitions Subclause 3.1 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. 3.2 General notes 3.2.1 Methods of test Subclause 3.2.1 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. In case of inconsistencies between IEC 60317-0-1:2013 and this part of IEC 60317,

47、 the latter shall prevail. 3.2.2 Winding wire Class 200 is a thermal class that requires a minimum temperature index of 200 and a heat shock temperature of at least 220 C. The temperature in degrees Celsius corresponding to the temperature index is not necessarily that at which it is recommended tha

48、t the wire be operated and this will depend on many factors, including the type of equipment involved. 60317-38 IEC:2013 7 3.3 Appearance Subclause 3.3 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. 4 Dimensions Clause 4 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. 5 Electrical resistance Clause 5 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies.

49、6 Elongation Clause 6 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. 7 Springiness Clause 7 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. 8 Flexibility and adherence Clause 8 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies. For 8.4, the constant K used for the calculation of the number of revolutions for the peel test shall be 110 mm. 9 Heat shock Clause 9 of IEC 60317-0-1:2013 applies.
