38、ising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Stand

This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) theory is removed and replaced with a reference to IEC TR 61282-9; b) a new method, wavelength scanning OTDR and SOP analysis (WSOSA), is added as Annex G; c) a brief description of each method is added to Clause 5; d) Methods E and F are converted to informative Annexes E and F; 8 IEC 61280-4-4:2017
