30、OLTAGE SWITCHGEAR AND CONTROLGEAR Part 206: Voltage presence indicating systems for rated voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 52 kV FOREWORD 1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committ

31、ees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. 46、pe This part of IEC 62271 is applicable to voltage presence indicating systems (VPIS) incor-porated in a.c. switchgear and controlgear covered by IEC 62271-200 or IEC 62271-201. Voltage presence indicating systems are devices used to provide information to operators about the voltage condition of th

47、e main circuit of the switchgear in which they are installed. The indication of VPIS alone is not sufficient to prove that the system is dead: if operating procedures make it mandatory, relevant voltage detectors according to IEC 61243-1, IEC 61243-2 and IEC 61243-5 should be used. This standard is
