49、pends upon basic fluid characteristics which affectoverall electrical apparatus characteristics. Such characteristics are integral parts of the equipment design, and sincethis design is the responsibility of the equipment manufacturer, it is not the intent of this guide to suggest orrecommend them.However, the reliable operation of the transformer in service is also dependent upon maintaining the physical,electrical, and chemical properties of the insulating liquid.
