A.2Requirements A.2.1Materials Thematerialsfortheblackeningprocessesshallbeselectedbythecontractor.Theselectedmaterialsshallresultin blackcoatingsmeetingalltheapplicablerequirementsofthisannex. A.2.2Preparationofbasismetal Priortotheapplicationoftheblackcoatings,thebasismetalshall

29、bethoroughlycleanedwithmaterialsandmethodsat theoptionofthecontractor.Thecleaningprocessshallbeperformedwithoutmeasurableabrasionorerosion.The cleanedsurfacesshallbefreeofrust,scale,grease,oil,paintorotherforeignmatter. A.2.2.1Stressrelieftreatment Allringswhicharecoldformedorwhichcontainresidualten
