14、thexagonalendsandshallconsistofatleasttwoplies. 4.2Dimensions Thefilledsackdimensionsshallbeasgivenintable1ofISO98841:1994. 4.3Construction materials 4.3.1General Allmaterialsusedintheconstructionofthesack(paper,plastics,adhesive,barrierply)shallbefreefromtaint and/orodour.Nomaterialscontainingchlor

15、ophenolsortheirderivativesshallbeused. 4.3.2Outer ply Theouterplymaterialshallhaveaminimumwetburstindexof1,2kN/g,whentestedinaccordancewithISO2758. 4.3.3Innermost ply Theinnerplyshallbeanaluminiumfoilcoatedbarrierplywiththealuminiumfacinginwards,complyingwith ISO98841,orofamaterialhavingapermeabilit

16、ytochlorophenolorchloroanisolenotgreaterthanthatoftheinner plyofasackcomplyingwithISO98841,whentestedbythemethodgiveninannexB. 4.4Performance requirements 4.4.1Drop test Whenaminimumofthreesacksf illedwith60kgofteaaredroppedthreetimes(onceeachonaface,buttandside) fromaconstantheightof3m,inaccordance

17、withthemethodgiveninISO79651,thereshallbenoruptureof sacksresultinginlossofcontents. 4.4.2Transport trials Sacksshallmatchorsurpasstheperformanceofreferencesacks(seeISO98841)throughoutaminimumof 6monthsofintercontinentaltransporttrialscarriedoutinaccordancewithannexA. 5Test report Thetestreportmaybe

18、usedbyasackmanufacturertocertifythatasackconformstotherequirementsofthis specification.Itshallspecifythefollowingdetails. a)Sack specification: 1)materials; 2) construction(numberandtypeofplies); 3)dimensions.ISO ISO98842:1999(E) 3 b) Droptestresults: 1) numberofsackstestedanddate(s)ofthetest; 2) ma

22、nsporttrials A.1Generalprocedure Trialsacksshallbecomparedwithreferencesacks(seeISO98841)f illedwiththesamebulkorinvoiceofteaat thesametimeunderidenticalconditions,transportedtogetherandopenedatthesametimeunderidentical conditions. Atleast1000filledtestsa cksshallbeshippedinaminimumoffourvesselsover

23、aminimumperiodof6monthsin aminimumoftwocontainerspervessel.Eachtestcontainershallholdatleast100trialsacksand100reference sacks. Thetestandreferencesacksshallbecomparedonthebasisof: incidenceandextentofsackdamage; incidenceandextentofproductspillage/loss; moisturecontentofteaonarrival; organolepticqu

24、alityofteaonarrival. A.2Specificprocedures A.2.1 Teafromthesamebulkorinvoiceshallbeusedtofillequalnumbersoftrialandreferencesacks. NOTE Severalbulksmaybeusedtomakeuppairedpalletloadsoftrialandreferencesackstofillthetestcontainers. A.2.2 Aminimumofthreesamplesofeachbulkofteashallbetakenduringthesackf

25、illingoperation.Themoisture contentofeachsampleshallbedeterminedinaccordancewiththemethodgiveninISO1573. A.2.3 Pairedpalletsoftrialsacksandreferencesacksshallbeplacedadjacentlyinthetestcontainer,alternating inpositiontoachieveanevendistributionfromsidetosideandtoptobottom. EXAMPLE TRTTR RTRRT whereT

A.2.4 Onarrrivalatthedestination,theconditionofthecontentsofeachtestcontainershallbeexaminedasthey areremovedandstoredinthewarehouse.Aninspectionrecordshallbecompleted(withphotographsillustrating damage)settingout: datesofarrivalandunpacking; thecondition,appearance

27、andstabilityofeachpalletload(testandreferencesacks);ISO ISO98842:1999(E) 5 thedamageincurredbybothtestandreferencesacks; theextentofanyproductspillage/loss. A.2.5 Samplesshallbetakenonarrivalfromundamagedtrialsacksandreferencesacksatthetop,middleand bottomofeachpallet,andthesesamplesshallbebulked.Th

28、emoisturecontentsofthebulkedsamplesshallbe determinedinaccordancewiththemethodgiveninISO1573.Themoisturecontentsofsamplesfromtrialpallets shallnotexceedthoseofsamplesfromthepairedreferencepallets. A.2.6 Atleasttwoconsignmentsoftea,havingsuccessfullycompletedatransporttrialfromproducingfactoryto purc

29、haserswarehouse,shallbesubjectedtoacomparativetasteassessment.Thisshallbecarriedoutbya minimumoffourprofessionalteatasters(atleasttwoofwhomshallbeindependentoftheproducerandthe purchaser)onbulkedsamplesfromreferenceandtestpalletscontainingthesameoriginalbulktea. Thefirststepinthisassessmentshallbead

30、ifferencetestcarriedoutaccordingtothemethodgiveninISO4120.If nosignificantdifference( Plessthan0,05)isfound,thetrialsackshallbedeemedtohavepassedthetest.Ifa significantdifferenceisfound,apreferencetestshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewiththemethodgivenin ISO4121todeterminewhichsample(s)is(are)ofthehighe

Themethoddescribedinthisannexisapplicabletoteasackbarrierplymater

33、ials(e.g.multilayerlaminates)to establishratesofchlorophenolandchloroanisolepermeationthroughamaterialundertest.Thisproceduremay alsobeconsideredapplicabletodetermineratesofpermeationofotherorganicvapoursthroughsimilarbarrier materials. B.2Principle Agastightcellisdividedintotwochambersbythetestplym
