14、fthebroadbandconnectionorientedbearer serviceswhichmaybeprovidedbyBroadbandPrivateIntegratedServicesNetworks(BPISNs). Oneofthepurposesoftheservicespecificationforbroadbandconnectionorientedbearerservicesistoguideandconstrainth e workonsignallingprotocols.Therefore,thisInternationalStandardisconcerne

15、dmainlywiththecontrolaspectsofservices. ChangeoftrafficcharacteristicsduringacallisoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard. ChargingconsiderationsareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard. 2 Conformance InordertoconformtothisInternationalStandard,aprotocolstandardshallspecifysignallingprotoco

16、lsandequipment behaviourthatarecapableofbeingusedinaBPISNwhichsupportsthebearerservicespecifiedinthisInternational Standard.Thismeansthat,toclaimconformance,aprotocolstandardisrequiredtobeadequateforthesupportofthose aspectsofclause6whicharerelevanttotheinterfaceorequipmenttowhichtheprotocolstandard
