The committee has decided that the contents of this amendment and the base publication will remain unchanged until the maintenance result date indicated on the IEC web s

At this date, the publication will be reconfirmed; withdrawn; replaced by a revised edition, or amended. _ Page 9 1 Scope In the first sentence replace “IEC 60840” by “IEC 62067”. 2 Normative references Add the follow

21、ing new reference: IEC 62067, Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages above 150 kV (Um= 170 kV) up to 500 kV (Um= 550 kV) Test methods and requirements Page 13 3.2.2 Polymeric insulated cables (according to IEC 60840) Insert “and IEC 62067” after “IEC 60840” in

22、 the title. Replace the first paragraph by the following: The temperature limits for polymeric insulated cables are imposed by the dielectric properties of the insulation. The high temperatures, electromagnetic forces and expansion forces produced under short-circuit conditions could have a marked e

23、ffect on the physical condition of the cable. Thus, the integrity of the bond between the semi-conducting screens and the insulation and deformation of the insulation are two important considerations for polymeric 61443 Amend. 1 IEC:2008 3 insulated cables. In addition, the high temperatures may cha

24、nge the properties of the semi-conducting and sheathing materials. 3.3 Accessories Replace the second sentence of item a) by the following: Conductor stresses as high as 50 N/mm2can easily occur. Replace the last sentence of item b) by the following: A minimum conductor stress of 40 N/mm2should be u

25、sed for design purposes. Page 17 4.2 Oversheath and bedding materials where there are no electrical or other requirements Replace subclause 4.2, including Table 2, by the following: The screen/metallic sheath/armour temperature limits, when in contact with, or embedded in the oversheath materials, b

26、ut thermally separated from the insulation by layers of suitable material and sufficient thickness, are given in Table 2. If thermal separation is not provided, the temperature limit of the insulation should be used if it is lower than that of the oversheath. Table 2 Temperature limits for oversheat

33、it: Les limites de temprature pour les cbles isolation synthtique sont imposes par les proprits dilectriques de lenveloppe isolante. Les tempratures leves, les forces lectromagntiques et les forces de dilatation produites en rgime de court-circuit pourraient avoir un effet sensible sur ltat physique

34、 des cbles. Ainsi, la prennit de ladhrence entre les crans semi-conducteurs et lenveloppe isolante, et les dformations de lenveloppe isolante sont deux considrations importantes pour les cbles isolation synthtique. De 61443 Amend. 1 CEI:2008 5 plus, les tempratures leves peuvent modifier les proprit

35、s des matriaux semi-conducteurs et de gainage. 3.3 Accessoires Remplacer la seconde phrase du point a) par ce qui suit: On peut facilement rencontrer des efforts sur lme pouvant atteindre 50 N/mm2. Remplacer la dernire phrase du point b) par ce qui suit: Au niveau de la conception, il convient dutil

36、iser un effort minimal sur lme de 40 N/mm2. Page 16 4.2 Matriaux de gainage et de bourrage, en labsence de prescriptions lectriques ou autres Remplacer le paragraphe 4.2, y compris le Tableau 2, par ce qui suit: Le Tableau 2 donne les tempratures limites de lcran, de la gaine mtallique, de larmure,
