1、Designation: C1005 17Standard Specification forReference Masses and Devices for Determining Mass andVolume for Use in the Physical Testing of HydraulicCements1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C1005; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal ado

2、ption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This specification covers the minimum requirements forscales, balances

The use of restrictive terminology, classes, ranges, and so forth ha

The actual value of its mass need not be known, but it mustbe equal in mass to

Requirements for Scales and Balances5.1 CapacityThe capacity of a device for mass determi-nation shall be at least equal to the maximum total load to beapplied to the load-receiving element at any one time (See Note3).NOTE 3In general, the capacity of a device for mass dete

There are exceptions to thisgenerality as, for example, the high quality substitution balances.5.2 Precision an

For balances with acapacity of 3000 g or more, the range of the test load shall be300 to 3000 g. For balances with a capacity of less than 3000g, the range of

The device for mass determinationshall be capable of reproducing readings with the same testmass to within at least the maintenance tolerance.5.3 ReadabilityThe index scale of a device for massdetermination shall be easily
