3、lded pressure vessels.1.2 This steel is usually made to a semi-killed or cappeddeoxidation practice; however, at the purchasers or the steelproducers option, the steel may be made silicon-killed oraluminum-killed.1.3 The maximum thickness of plates furnished under thisspecification shall be34 in. 20

These requirements out-line the testing and retesting methods and procedures, permit-ted variations in dimensions, and mass, quality and repair ofdefects, marking, loading, and ordering information.3.2 In addition to the basic requirements of thisspecification, certain supplementary require
9、ments are availablewhen additional control, testing, or examination is required tomeet end use requirements. The purchaser is referred to thelisted supplementary requirements in this specification and tothe detailed requirements in Specification A20/A20M.3.3 Coils are excluded from qualification to
10、this specifica-tion until they are processed into finished plates. Platesproduced from coil means plates that have been cut toindividual lengths from coil. The processor directly controls, oris responsible for, the operations involved in the processing ofcoils into finished plates. Such operations i
11、nclude decoiling,leveling, cutting to length, testing, inspection, conditioning,heat treatment (if applicable), packaging, marking, loading forshipment, and certification.NOTE 1For plates produced from coil and furnished without heattreatment or with stress relieving only, three test results are rep
