This part of ISO 7967 mainly deals with speed governing sy
28、stems for RIC engines. For governing systems based on other parameters (e.g. torque, temperature and load), the definitions given may be considered as a basis. ISO 2710-1 gives a classification of RIC engines and defines basic terms of such engines and their characteristics. NOTE The term Speed Gove
29、rnor may apply to an individual unit conventionally mounted on an engine or to a combination of units comprising a speed control system.
