SECTION 7 TOPSIDE AND HULL INTERFACE STRUCTURES 3 Topside Structures 3.5 Strength Assessment (Revise Subparagraph 7/3.5.3, as follows:) 3.5.3 Plated Structures (1 August 2017) For plated structures subject to biaxial stresses, the members shall be designed according to the Von-Mises equivalent stress criterion specified in MODU Rules 3-2-1/3.11 and MODU Rules Appendix 3-2-A3 for local highly stressed area.
