16、magnetic tape or telecommunications line) must also be agreed, Special computer programs are usually needed to generate/receive each data interchange. Each tends to have its own transport mechanism and the operational and organizational arrangements for each mechanism must also be established. This

17、is compounded because although similar data is interchanged on all Projects, the data interchanges and mechanisms tend to be different for each. It is costly and time consuming to devise and agreed these for each new Project. Costly changes to computer software are also usually necessary and increas

18、ed data errors and inconsistencies occur until each new interchange has settled down. Because of the trend of recent years in reducing the start-up time of new projects, project management could find itself in a position such that the project data interchange system is delaying the project itself. T

19、hus the problems caused by having to devise and agree new data interchanges for each new project can be summarized as: - unnecessary costs - inconsistent data - unnecessary delays The solution is to adopt standards or guidelines developed for general use, instead of re-inventing the wheel for each p

20、roject. E.1.0.3 The AECMA Aaaroach to the Problem The AECMA Computer Data Exchange Working Group publishes these Guidelines to Data Interchange with the following objective: To provide a method for efficient Electronic Data Interchange between Co-operating Aerospace Companies. To satisfy this object

21、ive the Working Group monitors the development of ED1 standards in other industries, studies existing internationally agreed standards and using these wherever possible, produces recommendations for the European Aerospace Industry. These recommendations cover the following areas: - Data Definition -

The Guide i

24、s being developed with the Assistance of other AECMA Committees, Working Groups and Subgroups, Whilst the Guide originated as a result of mutual assistance between Airframe companies, it has been structured so that it can easily include data interchanges between other sectors of the Aerospace Indust

25、ry such as Engines, Avionics etc. The Guide has been designed to cover all types of data (e,g. calculations, geometry, lists of Alpha-Numeric data, text, etc,) and all functions of the industry (design, procurement, production$ product support, project management, etc,). The work of the Group is onl

26、y concerned with the external data interfaces between companies, not with internal company procedures or databases. This is consistent with the approach taken by ATA in defining the EDI-interface between aircraft operators and aircraft manufacturers. The Guide is published in two volumes: - Volume 1

27、 contains recommendations on methods and suggestions on how to organize data interchanges, based on the experience of existing Projects. - Volume 2 is the “Data Dictionary“ and contains the agreed data element and message definitions, It is established as a computerized data dictionary which is avai

The objective of the Association is to promote the development of the Aerospace Industry in Europe by making it mare competitive as a whole and trying to create, for its benefit, a domestic European market. To meet this objective, the Association studies all the problems linked with this develo

31、pment, aiming to find solutions and define coordinated plans of acticm for their implementation. The Associations decision making body is its board whose members are the Presidents of the National Associations, The executive body is the Secretariat headed by a Director, based in Paris. 45、durchzufhren, ist daher naheliegend und diese Tendenz ist bei den Projekten Airbus, Tornado, EFA, “-90, Columbus, U.S.W. deutlich wahrnehmbar. 47、darin, dass beim Austausch von Papier als Informationstrger der Empfnger in der Lage ist, die Information zu deuten; Rechner knnen jedoch nicht - wie Menschen - unmittelbar oder aus dem Zusummenhang heraus interpretieren, Sie mssen die Informationen genau in der Art empfangen, in der sie erwartet we

Die Schwierigkeit bestand darin, dass fr jeden Austausch von Rechnerdaten eines Projekts-der genaue Inhalt und die Bedeutung der Daten vereinbart werden mssen; die genaue Spezifikation der fr die Datenbermittlung anzuwendenden Methode (Magnetband oder Fernleitung) muss vereinbart werden.
