7、age 3 1 Scope and field of application This standard specifies a method for measuring the duration of discontinuity across a pair of mated contacts. It shall be used together with EN 2591. 2 References EN 2591 Aerospace series - Elements of electrical and optical connection - Test methods - General
8、3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 They shall be fitted with their contacts wired in accordance with the technical specification and mated. 3.2 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details shall be specified : - maximum duration of discontinuity, - method to be used (A or BI, -
9、 test duration, - mechanical stresses, - climatic stresses. 4 Apparatus Tests shall be carried out with an appropriate apparatus or measuring device (see figures 1 and 2). 5 Method A d.c. current from 1 O mA to 1 O0 mA shall flow across every contact. The current shall be applied during the whole te
10、st and discontinuities, if any, shall be recorded.
