This thickness diff

14、The backup sheet shall be made from aluminium alloy 2024-T3 in accordance with EN 2090, approximately 1,6 mm thick. The piece of angle section shall be selected per EN 2048 - 40 mm x 40 mm x 4 mm, or machined in a bar per EN 2321, about 80 mm long. 6.1.2 Surface preparation The backup sheet before b
15、onding shall be either degreased with an appropriate solvent in the vapour phase or pickled as per EN 2334, unless otherwise specified in the material standard. A primer, if specified, shall be then applied on the backup sheet in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and the material standa
16、rd. 6.1.3 Bonding The application of the foaming adhesive film and the curing shall be carried out in accordance with the adhesive manufacturers instructions and the material standard. The backup sheet is temporarily clipped to the back of the reusable angle section support with a suitable clipping

A sample of the adhesive film 35 mm x 60 mm shall then be unrolled on the backup sheet as per figure 1, so as to avoid trapping air bubbles between the film and the backup sheet. Place the angle section/backup sheet/film unit on a flat surface coated with a su

The heat-up rate shall range from 1 OC/min to 6 OC/min and shall be monitored and recorded using a thermoelectric couple placed on the vertical flange of the angle section as per figure 1.
