8、es. They are intended for use in fixed or moving parts of the aircraft structure and their control mechanisms. They shall be used in the temperature range -54 OC to +I50 OC. As they are lubricated by means of the following greases: - Grease as per MIL-G-23827 (Code A), operating temperature range -
9、73 “C to + 121 OC or - Grease as per MIL-G-81322 (Code B), operating temperature range - 54 OC to + 177 OC. The range of application for bearings lubricated with grease type A is limited to + 121 OC. In both cases the spherical surface of the outer and inner ring, respectively, have to be provided w
10、ith a dry-film lubricant as per MIL-L-4601 O or equivalent (anti-seizing protection). This European Standard contains also Imperial units (non-SI units) besides the legal SI units. It is emphasized that the use of these non-SI units is not allowed according to Council Directive 80/181/EEC (Council D
11、irective of 20 December 1979 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to units of measurement and on the repeal of Directive 71/354/EEC). These Imperial units are quoted in brackets and only meant for assistance in business and official situations with countries still working w
