Refrigerants will conform to Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Standard 700, Specifications for Fluorocarbon Refrigerants, when tested according to Appendix C to AHRI Standard 700, Analy
13、tical Procedures for AHRI Standard 700. 4. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. The manufacturer/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Note that recovered materials will require puri

The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item Description, conform to
15、the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. 6. PACKAGING. 6.1 Compressed gas cylinders6.1.1 . The specific use o
16、f any given cylinder for the packaging of products may dictate special cylinder design and construction requirements. For this reason, all cylinders used for the packaging of products shall conform to any and all special restrictions to cylinder design and manufacturing techniques imposed by the pro
17、curing activity. Reusable cylinders and valves6.1.2 . Unless otherwise specified herein, the refrigerants shall be contained in Government-furnished cylinders conforming to Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations. When specified (see section 7), cylinders and valves shall be furnished by the con
18、tractor and, for military users, shall conform to A-A-59666 and A-A-59860, respectively. When specified (see section 7), the refrigerants shall be contained in contractor-owned, DOT-approved containers with valves with outlet connection No. 660. Disposable cylinders6.1.3 . When specified (see sectio
19、n 7), the contractor shall furnish disposable containers of the capacity as specified conforming to DOT Specification 39. Cylinder maintenance6.2 . The contractor shall maintain and fill Government furnished cylinders according to MIL-STD-1411. Drums (types R11, R113, and R123)7. NOTES. . These refr
20、igerants shall be shipped in DOT approved containers. When specified (see section 7), drums conforming to UN type containers according to Title 49, Part 178, Subpart L, shall be used. 7.1 Intended use7.2 . Refrigerants covered by this specification are intended for use in refrigeration and air condi
