This commercial item description covers a 120 VAC powered fluorescent light fixture mounted on wheels to provide illumination on the botto
2、m side of equipment while located inside a paint spray booth. Being intended for use inside paint spray booth the fixture will be certified for use in hazardous locations designated as Class I, Division 1, Group C Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C Class II, Division 1 and Class III as defined by Na
3、tional Electric Code (NEC). The fixture will have four (4) quantity, 4 foot long, 430 mA, and 34 Watt Fluorescent lamps powered with 120V 60 Hz voltage. The fixture will be mounted as a portable unit on 4 oversized 5 inch casters, 1 pair fixed and 1 pair swivel and locking. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTIC
4、S. 2.1. Certification. The Portable Light fixture is suitable for use inside paint spray booth and UL tested/labeled/approved for use in designated hazardous and hostile locations in accordance to National Electric Code of: Class I, Division 1, Group C Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C Class II, Di
5、vision 1 and Class III. 2.2. Light fixture. The fixture is four (4) quantity, 4 foot long, 430 mA, 34 Watt, rapid start, F40T12, medium bi-pin, fluorescent lamps powered with 120V 60 Hz voltage. Explosion-proof, impact, and heat resistant glass tubes provide lamp protection. A wire guard and clear p
6、olycarbonate shield provide additional security. Re-lamping can be done quickly from either end of the fixture with spring loaded sockets on both ends to hold lamps firmly for maximum. All lamp access covers are screw type and interchangeable, with “O-ring“ seals. The ballast housing is easily acces
7、sible and externally mounted with a class P, thermally protected and cold weather rated ballast being standard. The frame shall be constructed of corrosion resistant copper-free aluminum alloy. 2.4 Mounting. The frame shall be portable by being
9、mounted on four casters with 5 inch outside diameter oversized wheels. On one end one pair shall be rigid and fixed and on the other end the other pair shall be of a swivel and locking type caster. 2.5 Multiple Reflective Positions. The unit has multiple reflective positions. The reflectors are heav
10、y gauge extruded aluminum (2.5 millimeters thick), with high gloss reflective finish that resist dents and corrosion and are also easily and quickly removed for cleaning. 2.6. Pulling handle. The unit has Pulling handle for ease of movement on the end of the mount with pair of swivel casters. 2.7 Ex
11、plosion proof switch and plug. The unit has explosion proof switch and plug. 2.8 Power Cord. The unit has SO (50 foot) cable suitable for rough duty. 2.9 Guard and Shield. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition
13、 Regulation (FAR). 3. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE PROVISIONS 3.1 Product Conformance. The products produced shall meet all salient characteristics of this specification, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sal
14、e in the commercial market. 15、met. The Government reserves the right to return to the contractor any and all items that does not satisfactorily perform the necessary requirements. 3.2 Records. Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and made available to the Gove
16、rnment upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, during the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery of the supplies to which such records relate. 3.2 Hazardous Location Certification. All supplied items shall carry a UL standard commercial ce
17、rtification label referencing Hazardous Locations certified for and testing document number. PACKAGING 4.1 PACKAGING.
