REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials 3.1.1 Leather 3.1.1.
8、1 Outer sheI1. The leather for the outer shell (the top band, the tab, the keepers, and the loop) shall conform to type I, II, III, or IV; class 1 of KK-L-271 except for the thickness tolerance. The leather for the top band, the tab, and the keepers shall be 8/64 inch (plus 1/64 or minus 1/128 inch)
9、 thick. The leather for the loop shall be 4/64 inch (plus 1/64 or minus 1/128 inch) thick. The grain side of the leather shall be dyed black and smooth finished. 30、esponsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the perform

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requireme

Materials and components shall be inspected in accordance with
33、all the applicable provisions of the dociiments referenced herein. . 4.2.1.1 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance for the material identification of the sealer (see 3.1.5, and 6.2) shal1,be required. The Government shall reserve the right to check items to determine the validity of
