2、ment of Defense. Page 1 Title: Delete “J?LU-lAIP” and substitute “FLU-1P 1.1 Delete “FLU-lA/P” and substitute “FLU-1P Page 2 Add: “2.2.2 Other Government documents, drawings, and publications. The following Government documents and drawings form a part of this document to the extent specified herein

An installed cylinder conforming to MIL-PRF-25369 shall be punctured and the piercing pin shall be retracted when the lever is r

7、otated in an arc from the unopaated position. It shall not be possible without a tool to return the lever to the unoperated position when it reaches an angle of more than 90 degrees fkom longitudinal axis of the infiating assembly.” Page 5 3.9.11 Delete “J?LU-lA/P” and substitute “FLU-1P. 8、.1.2 Add Subparagraph as follows: “d. Vent (see 3.8.4.1)” Page 8 4.7.4 Delete and substitute: “Actuator &eration. A cylinder conforming to ML-PRF-25369 shall be installed on the inflating assembly. The lever arm shall be rotated in an arc from the unoperated position. Failure of the pin to pierce th

9、e cylinder or failure of the lever to lock in the operated position when it reaches an angle of nor more than 90 degrees from the longitudinal axis of the infiating assembly shall be cause of rejection.” Page 9 4.7.7 Delete and substitute: “Leakage. With the inflator valve mounted on a valve stem, w

10、ith the valve stem cap in place, the actuator shall be moved slowly through a n0nnal cycle of operation while the inflator valve is submerged in water and is subjected to an intmai pressure of 2 PSI for not less than 10 seconds. This test shall be repeated except that the intemal pressure appiied sh

11、all be 40 PSI. There shall be no evidence for leakage from the infiator valve.” 4.7.8 Delete and substinite: “(heration test with CO2 cvlinder. The inflator valve shall be mounted on a valve stem with the valve stem cap in place. A charged CO2 cylinder conforming to MILPRF-25369 shali be installed.

12、The inflator assembly shall be held in an inverted position with a load attached to the end of the actuator and the actuator held in the normal position. The outlet shall be equipped with a chamber that shall provide between 1.5 and 2.5 PSI backpressure on the inflator valve. The inflator valve and

13、load shall be submerged in water. The load shall be such that a moment of 20 inch pounds is applied to the actuator. When the load is released, the actuator shall operate the piercing mechanism, which shall pierce and discharge the CO2 cylinder in not more than two and one half seconds. The actuator

14、 safety restraint shall not be secured to the actuator in this test.
