9、 All 5 preproduction samples of the equipment shall be tested by the contractor for reliability in accordance with MIL-R-26667. Duration of the MTBF demonstration test on each unit shall consist of 50 on-off cycles in accordance with .301.1.1. permitting production, shall be judged on the basis of t

10、able 5.2 entitled “Reliability Accept-Re ject Criteria (Method 2) .“ Recording, data handling, and reporting procedures shall be in accordance with Ma-R-26667. 28、qual ahf signal generator, and a single-pole double-throw coaxial switch, SA-S21/A, shall be connected in accordance with figure 1. The signal generator shall be substituted for 1 of the SO-ohm loads and the input increased until the receiver squelch opens and the cyclic action of the antenna select

29、or stops. Then the SO-ohm dummy load shall be substituted for the signal generator and the transmitter keyed for at least 10 intervals of 5 seconds each with 5 seconds in receiving condition between each transmission. During each transmission, the antenna selector shall select the dumy load that was

30、 replaced by the signal generator. The test; shall be repeated by substituting the signal generator for the other 50-ohm dumy load, always select the load that was memorized by substituting the signal generator.
