5、N.- The requirements of XE-T-4860 shall apply as requirements of this specification with the exceptions and additions specified herdn. this specific at ion shall govern. When the two specificat ions conflict, 3 . 3 DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION 3.3.1 WIRING PRACTICE, WIRE, AND C0MK)NENTS.- TsnZess otherwi

19、ided by or for the attached training set. the AN/APQ-T1 and.AN/AFQ-T2A radar training sets shall be in accord- ance with MIL-R-474L and MIL-R-9274 respectively, When the simulator is installed with either the AN/AFQ-Tl or AN/APQ/T2A radar training set, the modified bombsight shall extend not less th

20、an 18 inches into one side of the housing at the heights specified in 3.8.5. The power requirements for. 3.4.1 GENERAL.- The simulator shall consist of the equipment which, when connected to radar training set AN/AW-Tl or AN/A?Q-T2A, shall. present an optical image representing the terrain below a s

Any uncovered or unprotected operating sections shall be covered wi

42、th cellulose wadding snd further protected by placing a sheet of fiberboard, or a suitable substitute, on the wadding ani holding it in place by taping or banding it to the item. Any itern not completely incased shall be further protected from the rubbing of one component against another by placing

43、felt or fiberboard stripping between the items. Padding shall as0 be used whenever the tiedown gear, buckles, or other strapping cm8 into contact with an item. Each item equipped with casters shall be furnished with a skid, constructed to prevent roiling of the item and to prevent damage to the floo

44、r of the plane. 5.3 PfIYSIW PROTECTION.- The simulator packed in accordance with 5.2.1 shall be cushioned, blocked, aid braced to meet the requirements of 5.5 when tested in accordance with 5.4. The drop tests of MiIrP-116 shall be waived. When practicable, fragile items removed for separate cushion

45、ing shall be packed in the container with the majar ccmponent from which they were removed. 5.4.1 DROP CR“EWS.- The contairier shall be supported at one end of the base on a wood sill, 5 or 6 inches in height, placed at right angles to the skids or base eds.
