The nylon yams used for all claases shall be polyamideprepared mom hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid or its derivativesandshall have a minimum melting poi
8、nt of 2b4.Centigrade (C)when tested inaccordancewith method 1534 of FEIHTD-191. The yarn shsll not be bleachedin any manner or process (see 4.2.3.3).3.1.1 mist. The v- and filling yarn for classes A, B, and C shall have10 turns Al turn af “Z” twist per inch. For class D, all types, and class E,types
9、 I, II, III, and IV, the warp yarns shall have 1 turn fi/2 tum of “Z”twist per inch, and the fiUing Y-S shall have a minimum of 2-1/2 turns of“S” twist per inch: For class E, types V and VI, the V6UPand fillingymsshall have a minimum of 2-1/2 turns of either “S” or “Z” tvlst per inch.3.1.2 Fiber ide

Each spool of tape shall be labeled or ticketed,and invoiced for fiber content in accordancewith the rules and regulationsunder the Textile Fiber Products IdentificationAct (see 4.2.2.2.1).3.2 Weave.3.2.1 Body. Unless otherwise specified,the body weave shall be a conven-tional two-up an
11、d two-down, right-hand twill, except that for class E, type VI,the varp ends shall veave tvo ends as one.3.2.2 Selvaue. Unless otherwise specified,the selvageveave for classesA,B, and C shall be a double weave of a conventionalhatband type. For classesD and E, there shall be no additional selvage en

Three sets of five vsrp and five fill-ing test specimens shall be selected for determiningresistanceto heat and tolight. Each of the warp specimen

One set of warpand fiing specimens shall be tested for breaking strength in accordancewith!4dhods 510b and 4108.1 of FED-STD-191tithout Y exPose. other set ofwarp and filling specimens shall be t
15、ested as specified in 4.2.3.1.1. The thirdset of v.srp and filling specimens shall be tested as specifiedin 4.2.3.1.2.(see3*3*3)* k.2.3.l.l Resistance to light. Five warp and five filling specimensshall bea71moaed in the acceleratedfeathering unit as specifiedin Method 58o4 ofFE&3TD-191 except the v
16、ater spray nozzle shall be off. The specimensshall beplaced side by side on the rack using no backing in such a manner that thespecimen shall be exposed unifomly. The exposure time shall be 50 hours.Relative humidity of 55 percent at lS5F shl be intned durin the entireexposure period. At the end of
17、the exposure period, the specimensshall bebrought to equilibriumunder standard conditionsdefined in FED-STD-191. Thespecimen shall then be tested for bretiing strenh in accordmce tith Methods5104 and 4108.1 of FED-STD-191,and the percent of breaking strenh (B.S.)lost shall be computed as follows:Per
