ASABE Standards are consensus documents developed and adopted by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers to meet standardization needs within the scope of the Society; principally agricultural field equipment, farmstead equipment, structures, soil and water resource man

3、agement, turf and landscape equipment, forest engineering, food and process engineering, electric power applications, plant and animal environment, and waste management. NOTE: ASABE Standards, Engineering Practices, and Data are informational and advisory only. Their use by anyone engaged in industr

4、y or trade is entirely voluntary. The ASABE assumes no responsibility for results attributable to the application of ASABE Standards, Engineering Practices, and Data. Adoption as an American National Standard requires verification by ANSI that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other

7、criteria for approval have been met by ASABE. Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the ANSI Board of Standards Review, substantial agreement has been reached by directly and materially affected interests. Substantial agreement means much more than a simple majority, but not necessarily

8、unanimity. Consensus requires that all views and objections be considered, and that a concerted effort be made toward their resolution. Keywords: Agricultural equipment, Headlamps, Lighting, Safety 1 Scope This Standard provides performance and general design requirements and related test procedures for headlamps for use on agricultural equipment th

16、rs 2 Section 4.3 Dust Test Section 4.4 Photometry Test The photometric test shall be made with the photometer at a distance of at least 18.3 m (60 ft) from the lamp. Color Tests: The color of the light from the lighting device shall be white 5 Beam Aim for Photometry 5.1 General Service Head Lamp: T

17、he unit shall be aimed on the photometer so that the top of the beam, or lower beam if so equipped, is at least 1 degree, but not more than 4 degrees below lamp center level and centered laterally. 6 Beam Aim on the Vehicle 6.1 Each lamp shall be aimed visually such that when measured on a screen or

18、 vertical surface at 7.6 m (25 ft.) from the lamp, the top of the beam, or lower beam if so equipped, is 0.1 H below the lamp center, where H is the lamp center measure from the ground. The head lamp beam shall be centered laterally. 7 Photometric Requirements 7.1 General Service Head Lamp: The unit

19、 shall comply with the photometric requirements of Table 1 or 2. 7.1.1 Low beam per Table 1.
