16、e-temperature ratings established under thisspecification are based upon the manufacturers usage of highquality materials produced under regular control of chemicaland physical properties by a recognized process. The manu-facturer shall be prepared to submit certification of compliance,verifying tha
17、t his product has been so produced and that it hasbeen manufactured from material with chemical and physicalproperties at least equal to the requirements of the appropriatestandard or specification listed in 4.3 of this specification orSection II of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.4.2 For m
18、aterials not having values of allowable stresstabulated in Section VIII Division I of the ASME Boiler andPressure Vessel Code, allowable stresses shall be determined inaccordance with the procedures outlined in Appendix P ofSection VIII, Division 1 of the ASME Boiler and PressureVessel Code.4.3 Mate
19、rials of construction shall be suitable for the serviceintended.4.4 Bolting materials shall be at least equal to those listed inTable 1B of ANSI B16.5. Bolting materials shall not be usedbeyond temperature limits specified in the governing codes.5. Requirements5.1 Entrainment separators covered in t
20、his specificationshall be designed according to the lowest pressure-temperaturerating of any individual component, or as established by prooftests.5.2 The design pressure-temperature of entrainment separa-tors covered in this specification will be established by themanufacturer using one of the foll
21、owing methods:5.2.1 Design calculations in accordance with the require-ments prescribed in the ASME Boiler and Pressure VesselCode, Section VIII, Division 1, Part UG of Subsection A andthe applicable part of Subsection C.5.2.2 Proof test in accordance with the requirements of UG101 (m), UCI-101, or
22、UCD-101 of Section VIII, Division 1 ofthe ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.5.2.3 Where any part of the entrainment separator vesselcannot be designed within the scope of the ASME Boiler andPressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1, DesignSection, the pressure-temperature rating must be dete
23、rminedthrough proof and hydrostatic tests using the following formu-las to determine the allowable operating limits of pressure andtemperature. 25、si).5.2.3.1 Stress values S1and S2are determined from SectionVIII, of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.5.2.3.2 The value of PHTto be used in determining themaximum allowable working pressure shall be the maximumpressure to which the entrainment separator was subjected towithout permanent def
26、ormation or rupture.5.2.3.3 Test water temperature6and entrainment separatortemperature must be at equilibrium before hydrostatic testpressure is applied.5.2.3.4 All possible air pockets must be purged while theentrainment separator vessel is being filled with water. Ad-equate vents shall be provide
27、d at all high points of the vessel.5.2.3.5 External equipment not to be pressurized with theentrainment separator should be isolated or disconnectedbefore applying the hydrostatic test pressure.5.2.3.6 Hydrostatic test pressure shall be applied graduallyto the entrainment separator and held stationa
28、ry at eachincrement for a sufficient time in order that a visual inspectioncan be made for leaks or deformation of the vessel. The finalvalue of hydrostatic test pressure that is not in conflict with5.2.3.2 is called PHT.5.3 Pressure-temperature rating and construction of all pipeconnections shall b
29、e in accordance with the following stan-dards or specifications: ANSI B2.1, ANSI B16.1, ANSI B16.3,ANSI B16.4, ANSI B16.5, ANSI B16.11, ANSI B16.15, ANSIB16.24, ANSI B16.25, ASME SA-278, ANSI B16.31, MSSSP-51, and MIL-F-1183.6. Test Methods6.1 All entrainment separators must be pressure tested inacc
30、ordance with the following:6.1.1 Each entrainment separator shall be tested by subject-ing it to an internal hydrostatic test procedure, which at everypoint in the separator is at least equal to 1.5 times themaximum allowable working pressure, multiplied by the low-est ratio of the stress value for
