Abstract This standard defines the detailed description of the air interface of Internet Code Division Multiple Access (I-CDMA). This volume describes all aspects of the of the air interface

20、 that exists between the Access Terminal (AT) and the Base Station Router (BSR). It covers the three lowest layers (physical layer, link layer and network layer) analogous to the OSI Network Layer model. It also satisfies the requirements for the radio and network aspects of Wireless Wideband InterN

21、et Access (WWINA) systems that are optimized for Internet data applications in low mobility (handoff) environments. Technical Subcommittee T1P1 of Committee T1 coordinates and develops standards and technical reports primarily relevant to wireless/mobile telecommunications networks in the U.S. and reviews and prepares contributions on such ma

24、tters for submission to the appropriate U.S. preparatory body for consideration as ITU contributions or for submission to other domestic and regional standards organizations. ANSI guidelines specify two categories of requirements: mandatory and recommendation. The mandatory requirements are designat

25、ed by the word shall and recommendations by the word should. Where both a mandatory requirement and a recommendation are specified for the same criterion, the recommendation represents a goal currently identifiable as having distinct compatibility or performance advantages.
