16、erial Number UAS Unmanned Aircraft Systems 3 Serial Number General All UASs shall be assigned a unique serial number that becomes part of a Physical Serial Number (PSN), to be printed on the UAS, and an Electronic Serial Number (ESN) that may be associated with the UAS. ANSI/CTA-2063 23.1 Physical S
17、erial Number Each PSN shall comprise three basic components: the Manufacturers Code, the Length Code, and the Serial Number. CTA, in collaboration with all stakeholders, is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures that specify the procedure to be followed pertaining to the acquisition a
18、nd regulation of the PSN Manufacturers Codes. As Manufacturer Code Administrator, CTA manages the PSN Manufacturers Code component. The remaining segment of the PSN, the Serial Number, will be directly administered by the manufacturer to which the PSN Manufacturer Code is assigned. 3.1.1 Physical Se
19、rial Number Format The format of the PSN is: The Manufacturer (MFR) Code is a 4 character alphanumeric code (Note: MFR Codes shall include any combination of digits and uppercase letters, except the letters O and I, but may include all digits.) The Length Code is a single alpha character that corres
20、ponds to the number of characters in the serial number that is included in the PSN. The alpha characters range from A to T signifying the range of 1 to 20 characters in the serial number (e.g., A = 1, B=2, H=8, T=20). The Length Code will not be included in the ESN. The Serial Number, which is gener

The actual number of characters used by the manufacturer shall be indicated b

Example: MFR1L123456789ABC MFR Code = MFR1 Length Code = L, signifying 12 characters in the following SERIAL NUMBER Serial Number = 123456789ABC 3.2 Electronic Serial Number Each ESN shall comprise four basic components: the Manufacturers Code, the Serial Number, the IME
23、ISV Identifier, and Performative Characteristics. 3.2.1 Electronic Serial Number Format The format of the ESN is: The ESN is a fixed format and therefore when transmitted the ESN is always transmitted as 47 characters. 25、ode as defined in Section 3.1.1 Physical Serial Number. The Serial Number, which is generated by the manufacturer, is a 20 character alphanumeric code as defined in Section 3.1.1 Physical Serial Number. This serial number shall be represented electronically using ASCII coding of the serial number ch
26、aracters. The serial number shall be a fixed length of 20 bytes. If the physical serial number is less than 20 characters the manufacturer shall pad the serial number with leading bytes with the value 0x00. Example: The Physical Serial Number in the example in 3.1.1 would be represented as the hex s

The International Mobile Station Equipment Identity and Software Version Number (IMEISV) is16 character decimal digit code and shall be defined by
28、 3GPP TS 23.003. Per 3GPP TS 23.003, the IMEISV includes the following: Type Allocation Code (TAC) 8 digits. Serial Number (SNR) in an individual serial number uniquely identifying each equipment within each TAC 6 digits. Software Version Number (SVN) identifies the software version number of the mo

Seven characters are reserved for performative characteristics of the UAS where the first character indicates the standards body from which the following 6 performative charac
30、teristics are defined. CTA will manage the assignment of the code for the standards body responsible for defining the performative characteristics. If any of the 7 performative characteristics characters are not used they shall be padded with bytes with the value 0x00. Consumer Technology Associatio
