Class

This commercial item description covers electric, motor operated cookie cutting machines for use in Military bakeries to cut dough automatically into various cookie shapes, using dies furnished with the machine. 2. Salient characteristics. 2.1 Design and construction. The cookie cutting m
3、achine shall consist of a dough hopper, chute, feed rolls with scrapers, die plate, cutting dies, cutter fingers, cut-off wires, automatic pan conveyor and pan guides, together with appropriate controls, designed, arranged, and assembled commensurate with modern commercial practice for this type of
4、unit. The pan guides shall adjust to accept pans ranging in size from 17 inch through 19 inches. The unit shall be adjustable for cookie thickness and spacing on the pan, and shall have a variable speed drive allowing a minimum range of from 35 strokes per minute to 70 strokes per minute. The machin
5、e when operating normally shall automatically produce cookies of uniform shape, thickness, and spacing using the dies furnished with the unit. The changing of cutting dies, normal maintenance, and minor repair shall be accomplished without major disassembly of the unit. The unit shall be equipped wi
6、th two rigid casters on one end, and two swivel casters on the other end. Each machine with its parts package shall be packed in a nailed and lock-corner wood box conforming to PPP-B-621, class II, style 2, 4, or 7, type I load or a cleated plywood box conforming to PPP-B-601, overseas type, style optional. Each box shall waterproofed with a sealed case liner
19、 conforming to MIL-L-10547, type I, II, or IV, grade optional. Each box shall be closed, strapped, and provided with skids in accordance with PPP-B-601 or PPP-B-621 as applicable. 4.3.3 Palletization. When specified, shipping containers shall be palletized in accordance with MIL-STD-147 (see 5.1). 4
