The contractor shall submit for approval inspection equipm

11、 be tested for the specified requirements in accordance with Method 106 (Non-subcycling) of MIL-STD-202. Any antenna failing to comply with all of the specified requirements shall be classed defective (Non-destructive test). 4.5.1.3 Sand and dust test. - The antenna shall be tested for the specified
12、 requirements in accordance with the requirements of MIL-T-5422. Any antenna failing to comply with all of the specified requirements shall be classed defective (Non-destructive test). 4.5.1.4 Salt spray test - The antenna shall be tested for the specified requirements in accordance with Method 101,
13、 Test Condition B of MIL-CTD-202. Any antenna failing to comply with all of the specified requirements shall be classed defective (Non-destructive test). 4.5.1.5 Vibrat2on test. - The antenna shall be fully collapsed and tested for the applicable requirements in accordance with Method 204, Test Cond

(Non-destructive test) test shall be performed after they have been subjected to the
16、test requirements of 4.5.1. (largest) segment secured in a vertical position fixture, be fully extended and have a twenty (20.0) pound minimum of thirty plus or minus ten (30.0+ 10.0) seconds. As a result of this force, the antenna shall not show evidence of mechanical damage nor shall the segments
17、separate (Non- destructive test). 4.5.2 Mechanical strength test group. - The following * 4.5.2.1 Pull test. - The antenna shall have the first L weight applied ta the last (smallest) segment for a period 4.5.2.2 Extension force test. - The antenna shall be fully collapsed mounted in a fixture and p
18、ulled with a maximum force of eight (8) pounds in the direction of this fixture for a time not to exceed five (5) seconds. During this time the antenna shall become fully extended. Any antenna failing to comply with all of the specified requirements shall be classed defective (Non-destructive test).

PREPARAITO
25、N FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Preservation and packaginq 5.1.1 Level C. - Each antenna shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-1169. 5.2 Packing 5.2.1 Level C. - The antenna, preserved and packaged in 5.1.1, shall be packed for shipment in accordance with MIL-STD-1169. 5.3 Marking. - Marking
26、 of the carton shall comply with MIL-STD-1169 . 5.4 Shipping. - When antennas of more than one lot are shipped together, each lot shall be kept separate and the division between lots clearly indicated to prevent mix- ing of the lots in transit. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. - The components and assembl
27、ies covered by this specification are intended for use as the antenna for the XM122 firing device transmitter.
