2、oved for use within the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 1 2.1, Standards: Add “MIL-STD-810“. 2.1, Packaging data sheet: Delete “MIL-P-14232“. PAGE 2 3.3: Delete and substitute: “3.3 General

3、 specification. The contractor shall be responsible for the compliance with the requirements of specification MIL-F-13926.“ 3.4.1: Delete and substitute: “3.4.1 Storacre temperatures. The case shall show no evidence of physical failure after having been exposed to, and thermally stabilized at, ambie

4、nt temperature of -80 degrees F (-62 degrees C) +/- 5 degrees F (+/- 2 degrees C) and +160 degrees F (+71 degrees C) +/- 5 degrees F (+/- 2 degrees C). Subsequent to the above temperature changes the case shall meet the requirements of 3.5 at standard ambient temperature.“ 3.4.2: Delete and substitu

5、te: “3.4.2 Standard ambient temperature . The case shall meet all performance requirements, 3.5, of this specification at a standard ambient temperature between +60 degrees F (+16 degrees C) and +90 degrees F (+32 degrees C), except as otherwise noted. The interior of the case shall show no evidence of leakage or moisture after the latched case has been exposed to the rain test, section I, pro

The temperature of the item under test shall be 10 degrees C (18 degrees F) +/- 1 degree C (+/- 2 degrees F) higher than the rain temperature at the start of each exposure. b. Rainfall shall be 4 +/- .4 inches/hour. c. Wind veloc

9、ity shall be 40 +/- 4 miles/hour. d. Exposure shall be horizontal, hinge up, for 30 +/- 3 minutes and vertical for 30 +/- 3 minutes.“ 3.4.5: Delete: “4 pound“ and substitute “2 pound“. The case shall be exposed to temperatures specified in 3.4.1 in accordance with procedure II of MIL-F-13926, except that soak time shall be 2

11、hours, and temperature shall be reduced and increased at a rate that will not cause thermal shock, or fractures to the item under test. After exposure, the case shall show no evidence of damage and shall meet the requirements of 3.4.1. This test can be performed concurrently with 4.6.1.2 in accordan

12、ce with procedure I of MIL- F-13926. 13、The case shall be exposed to the temperatures specified in 3.4.3 in accordance with procedure I of MIL-F-13926, except that soak time shall be 2 hours and temperature shall be reduced and increased at a rate that will not cause thermal shock or fractures to the item under test. While exposed to thes

14、e temperatures the case shall meet the requirements of 3.5. This test can be performed concurrently with 4 6.1.1. 4.6.1.3: Delete and substitute: “4.6.1.3 Rain exposure. This test shall be performed in accordance with fain test, section II, procedure I, 506.2, MIL- STD-810, and shall show no evidenc

15、e of leakage or moisture to meet the requirements of 3.4.4.“ Add new 4.7: “4.7 Packasins inspection. The preservation, packaging and marking shall be inspected to verify conformance to the requirements of 5.1. 5.1, line 3: Delete “MIL-P-14232/“. *The margins of this amendment are marked with an aste

16、risk or vertical lines to indicate where changes (additions, modifications, corrections, deletions) from the previous amendment were made. This was done as a convenience only and the Government assumes no liability whatsoever for any inaccuracies in these notations. Bidders and contractors are cauti

17、oned to evalutate the requirements of this document based on the entire content irrespective of the marginal notations and relationship to the last previous amendment.
