Material. - Materials shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Cartridge. - The cartridge shall comply with ail requirements specified on Drawing (Dwg.) 9317512, all asso- ciated draw
11、ings, and with all requirements specified in applicable specificaitons. 3.3 Transportation vibration. - The cartridge shall comply with the following requirements: 3-3.1 The cartridge shall be safe to transport following this test (See 6.5). 3.3.2 There shall be no evidence of external damage to the
12、 cartridge that will affect the intended function (See 6-61 . 3.4 Functioning. - The cartridge shall comply withthe following requirements; 3-4.1 Altitude. - The projectile shall function at an average altitude of 300 feet plus (+) 50 feet or minus (-) 25 feet with no item below 200 feet. 3-4.2 . Bu
13、rning f smoke asseinbly. - The smoke assembly shall asnite and emit smoke for 100 +- 20 seconds whihe sus- pended fromthe parachute at ambient temperature. 3-4.3 Parachute. - The parachute shall not separate from the smoke assembly at ejection or delay opening from time of ejection for more than 5 s

Requirements for the submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.6 Workmanship. - All parts and assemblies shall be fabr
16、icated, loaded and assembled in a thorough, workmanlike manner. They shall be free of burrs, sharp edges, cracks, dirt, grease, rust and other foreign matter, The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any parts, nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agents. surface coatings sh
