14、ality Conformance Inspection Tables. 4.4.4 Inspecton Equipment The inspection equipment required to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described in the “Paragraph Ref erence/Inspection Method“ column in the tables starting with paragraph 4.4.2.1. The contractor shall submit for
15、approval inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See section 6 of MIL-A-48078. 4.5 Test Methods and Procedures Assembled Extractor 4.5.1 Strength Test - The axial force specified in 3.3 shall be applied to the extractor by simulating its normal usage. The extractor
16、 shall be assembled to a test fixture designed to hold the front end by simulating an aft closure per dwgs 9308015 (M712) or 9331769 (M823) and Supporting the other end on the brace outside of an eleven inch diameter circle. The axial. load shall be apy?lied by torqueing the svstem using the drive r
17、atchet. The system shall be tested at each of its extended lengths. Failure to meet the specified requirements shall be cause to reject the unit. 4.5.2 Expansion Ring Operational Test The expansion ring (dwg. 9305470) shall he Dlaced in a simulated assembly position and a force applied to the ring t
18、abs to close the ring from the unrestrained to the restrained (closed) position. Failure to meet the specified requirements shall reject the ring lot. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packing, Packaging and Marking - Packing, packaging and marking of the extractor shall be in accordance with dwg. . 9331729. 6. NOTE
