See 4.5 4.5 Methods of inspection. 4.4.4 Inspection equipment. The inspection e
17、quipment required to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described in the “Paragraph Reference/Inspection Method“ column in the tables starting with 4.4.2.1. The contractor shall. submit for approval inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See S
18、ection 6 of MIL-24-48078 and 6.3 herein. 4.5.1 z. Compliance with all requirements of Section 3 of this specification shall be ascertained by current and continuing examination of inspection and test data to determine that all components (parts, subassemblies, and materials) have been inspected and
19、tested and found to comply with their respective drawing and specification requirements, and that all specified manufacturing processes have been followed. 4.5.1.1 Visual and mechanical inspection. The visual, manual, tactile and mechanical inspections and tests shall verify compliance with the requ
20、irements of Section 3 and 5 of this specification in accordance with 4.4.2 herein and Table I. 4.5.2 Density of booster pellet. The density of each pellet shall be determined by using the following calculation Mass, in qrams (Height, in inches) (Diameter, in inches) (12.87) Density, /cc= 4.5.3 Boost
21、er and lead output test The booster and lead shall be assembled into an M734 fuze base assembly (11723002). A Government approved fixture shall be used to simulate an M734 fuze explosive train. The explosive train shall be initiated remotely. Any assembly that fails to shear the witness block (3.0 i
22、nch minimum diameter of 2011-T3 aluminum) 360 degrees upon initiation shall be classed defective. WARNING: This test is dangerous and must be performed behind a suitable barricade. . 4.5.4 Air leakaqe test (see drawinq 9381685). The sealed metal ammunition container shall be tested in accordance wit

Fuzes with boosters shall be packed in accordance with the requirements of dwg. 9381685. 5.2.2 Level B. Fuzes with boosters shall be packed in accordance with the requirem
25、ents of drawing 9387416. 5.2.3 Level C. Packing for fuzes without boosters shall be in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9347415. 5.3 Marking 5.3.1 Level A. Fuzes with boosters shall be marked in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9381685. 5.3.2 Level B. Fuzes with boosters shall
26、be marked in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9347416. 5.3.3 Level C. Fuzes without boosters shall be marked in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9347415. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. The Fuze, Multi-Option: M734 is designed to provide a means of detonating the cartridges, 60MM, M
