The Government reserves the right to perform aray of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to insure that supplies and services con- fo
8、rm to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Responsibility for compliance. All items must meet all requirements of sections 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification shall become a, part of the contractors overall inspection system or quaity program. The absence of any inspection requirements
9、 in the specification shal not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of assuring that all products or supplies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all require- ments of the contract. Sampling in quality conformance does not authorize sub- mission of known defective material
10、, either indicated or actual, nor does it commit the Government to acceptance of defective material. 4.1.2 Objective evidence. The contractor shall provide objective evidence acceptable %o the contracting officer that the requirements of 3.1 and section 5 for which specific inspection has not been p
11、rovided in this specification have been sak ist ied e 4.2 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirements specified herein are classified as follows: (a Preproduction inspection (see 4.3). (D) Quality conformance inspection (see 4.4). 4.3 Preproduction inspection. I - i 4.3.1 Sample. A pr
12、eproduction sm2l.e of one heater shall be manufactured using the same methods, materials, equipment and processes as will be used dur- ing regular production. 13、re. 4.3.2.1 For examination. The sample heater shall be examined in accordance with the classification of defects (4.4.3.3) . 4.3.2.2 For tests. The sample heater shall be tested as specified in 4.4.4 using each of the fuels specified in 3.4. 4.3.3 Acceptance/rejection criteria. The preproduction sa
14、mple shall comply with the examinations and tests specified in 4.3.2 to be acceptable. The con- tractor shall obtain written approval from the contracting officer prior to pro- ceeding with regular production. 4.4 Quality conformance inspect ion . 4.4.1 Lotting. A lot shall consist of the heaters of
15、 one interfix, number, produced by one manufacturer, at one plant, from the same materials, under essentially the same manufacturing conditions. 4.4.2 Sampling for examination. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance wth MIL-STD-105. 4.4.3 Inspection procedure. 4.4.3.1 For examination. The sample
16、heaters and the level A unit pack requirements shall be examined in accordance with the classification of defects and MIL-STD-105 . 4.4.3.2 For tests. Each heater shall be tested in accordance with 4.4.4 using one of the specified fuels indicated in 3.4. be zero. Tests shall be conducted so that eac
17、h of the two fuels shall be used sequentially; that is, whenever two successive heaters have been tested, both fuels will have been used. 19、or: AG and close the water inlet. After acceptable leakage test, remove closiire device and install safety valve as required. Connect a suitable water supply to the water outlet. Apply the specified water pressure for the required priod of time, and observe for water leakage at all joints and seam.

After temperature is stabilized, observe the test thermometer to see that the heater will maintain the tempera
25、ture of the outlet water within the specified tolerance for 5 minutes without adjustment. Each heater shall be tested at dif- ferent temperatures within each of the three operating ranges of flow and tem- prature. 4.4.4.3 Continuity. Check the cable assembly with an ohmmeter. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packag
26、ing. Packaging shall be as specified in SPI P5-59-200. 6. NOTES 6.1 - Intended use.
