REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Components.-All components used in the assembly of the mask shall conform to the specifications and drawings forming a part of this specification. 3.2 Assembly.
12、- The mask shall be as- sembled as specified on Drawing B5-1-183 which is listed on Drawing B5-1-182. 3.3 Workmanship.-All work shall be done in a neat and workmanlike manner. . 4. SAMPLING, INSPECTION, AND TEST PRQCEDURES 4.1 Lot.-A lot shall consist of the masks produced by one contractor, from th
13、e same materials, and under essentially the same manufacturing conditions. However, not more than one lot of canisters, hoses, and facepieces shall be represented in any one lot of finished masks. The inspection lot for nondestructive inspection, within the above limitations, shall be designated by
14、the in- spector. 4.2 Sampling for nondestructive inspec- tion.-Sampling for nondestructive inspec- tion shall be conducted in accordance with the authorized classification of defects (see 4.3.4) and Standard MIL-STD-105 (see 6.2). 4.3 Inspection. 4.3.1 Components.-The inspector shall as- certain tha
15、t, prior to assembly, all compo- nents or subassemblies of the mask procured under separate specifications or drawings have been inspected, tested, and accepted in accordance with their respective specifica- tions or drawings, 4.3.2 Packaging, packing, and marking.- The inspector shall inspect the p
16、ackaging, packing, and marking of the masks for com- pliance with section 5. . 4.3.3 Procedures.-For Naval purchases, general inspection procedures shall be in ac- cordance with General Specifications for In- spection of Material. 4.3.4 Classification of clef ects.-Inspection of the mask shall be co

In addition to any special marking re- quired by the contract or order, all shipping containers for the Air Force shall be marked in accordance with S
22、pecification 94-40645 and for the Naw. in accordance with the Navy Shipment Marking Handbook. 6. NOTES 6.1 Ordering data. - Procurement docu- ments should specify the title, number, and date of this specification. 6.2 Inspection.-Inspection will not neces- sarily include all drawing and specificatio
